Last updated: September 29, 2026. This notice describes the site’s current settings and the controls for optional analytics. We update it when those settings change.
Who operates this site
Practical SaaS Lab is operated by T. Hori, an individual based in Japan. For privacy enquiries or requests concerning the operator’s contact information, email contact@practicalsaaslab.com. We will respond in line with applicable law.
What we receive and why
If you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message, and any information you choose to send. There is no website contact form. We use correspondence to reply, handle article corrections, and maintain relevant editorial records. XServer hosts the website and email account and processes technical information needed to deliver and operate the service. Its control panel makes recent access logs available; the separate user-directory log-saving option for this domain is off. These settings do not establish a single retention period for all hosting or security records.
Search and analytics
We use Google Search Console to understand how this domain appears in Google Search. Domain ownership was confirmed through DNS verification, which does not itself add a visitor-facing analytics tag. A dedicated Google Analytics 4 (GA4) web stream exists for this site. The analytics choice interface is available to all visitors. The site loads the GA4 tag only if you explicitly choose “Accept analytics.” Before a choice, and after “Reject analytics,” it will not load the Google tag or send GA4 measurement events. The same choice applies worldwide; the site does not use location detection for this setting. We do not use Google advertising measurement or personalization. GA4 may record page views and other events enabled for this stream, including outbound clicks, for visitors who accept. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on your consent as the lawful basis for optional analytics. You can withdraw it through “Cookie settings” to stop future GA4 measurement.
For visitors who accept analytics, GA4 may process a pseudonymous browser identifier, page and event information, approximate location, and browser and device information to produce site-use reports. Google says GA4 uses IP addresses at collection to derive location but does not log or store raw IP addresses in Analytics. The dedicated property has Google signals, user-provided data collection, Google Ads linking, and advertising personalization disabled; its optional account-level data-sharing settings are also off. See Google’s description of Analytics data collection and Google’s Privacy Policy. Google says it maintains servers around the world, so information may be processed outside the country where you live. We will update this notice if these settings or the relevant data-transfer details change.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site stores your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage. If you accept, GA4 can set analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and receive measurement data. The “Cookie settings” control lets you change your choice later. Choosing “Reject analytics” after acceptance disables analytics on reload and attempts to clear GA4 cookies for this site. You can also clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser. WordPress and hosting or security services may use technical storage for site operation and administration. The analytics choice interface is available to all visitors. You can reopen it using “Cookie settings.”
Product links and other sites
Current product links lead to merchants’ official websites without approved affiliate identifiers. When you follow a link, the destination site handles information under its own privacy policy. For visitors who accept analytics, selected product links also send a referral_click event with the destination domain and a short link label. This measures interest in a product; it does not mean the link is an approved affiliate link or that a purchase occurred. We will identify any affiliate networks and update this section before enabling affiliate links.
Retention, sharing, and requests
We keep correspondence while needed to respond and maintain relevant editorial or operational records, subject to applicable obligations. XServer provides hosting and email services; retention of technical records may vary by record and setting. The dedicated GA4 property currently retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for 14 months, with the user-level period reset on new activity. These controls concern data associated with identifiers and do not set the retention period for every aggregated report. We will update this notice if these retention settings change. We do not sell personal information. Depending on applicable law and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your information, and to withdraw consent for optional analytics. To submit a privacy complaint or rights request, email contact@practicalsaaslab.com. Include the address used to contact us and describe your request. We may reasonably verify identity before disclosing or changing information, and will respond in line with applicable law. If you are in the UK, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
